About Me

My Philosophy

I believe that  given the chance - the human body has the ability to heal itself, by itself. That means, eating the right foods, moving your body from a place of love, having healthy and supportive relationships, and crowding out all the things in your life that drain you. As a holistic Health Coach I focus on what you bring to your plate, and not just whats on it. In order to lead a full and fulfilling life you have to take into account all aspects. That's just what I am here to do.

My Story

My story begins in the winter of 2013. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and had no idea what I was in for. After 2 years of being bedridden, countless doctor visits and medications later, I still wasn't better. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I researched, and worked with a team of doctors and holistic health practitioners to get my life back! I learned through them, that being healthy isn't as simple as remembering to eat a salad every once an a while. I learned that we really ARE what we eat, and moreover its not just what we eat that effects our health. That is when I discovered the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and enrolled in their health coach training program. It was there that I learned SO many coaching techniques, over 100 dietary theories, but most importantly I learned the value of primary food - the stuff in your life that doesn't make it to your plate; your physical activity, your relationships, your career, your spirituality and how all those things affect the quality of your health. Enrolling in IIN was life changing, and solidified the notion I had been feeling for a long time: I was meant to carry on this message, and to help people learn how to help themselves as I did.
